Hi, my name is Patti Hendriks (actually Patti Marie Hendriks, that's how I came up with the pm bears; no comments about the missing "s"). I may be new to the internet but I'm not new to the Teddy Bear World. I have been designing and creating artist bears for 15 years. My first 4 years were spent working with plush, but once I found out about mohair I was hooked.
If you know anything about my bears you know my designs have changed greatly over the years from the sweet doll like designs to the goofy and vintage style I do now.
As well as being a bear artist, I am a farm wife, mother of 3 (Brittney-16, Tyler-14, Kylie-11), a retail store manager and the proud owner of 4 miniature donkeys, 3 dogs(80 odd cows and several dozen cats). Creating my bears is what I do to relax, oh yes, and shopping (my ultimate form of relaxation). I attend many bear shows in Canada and the United States and enjoy meeting other bear artists and collectors, it makes us all part of one big family.
